Trop de choses a dire/ Too much to say

Ca fait trop et trop longtemps mais je vous prie de m'excuser mais c'est que je suis tres occupee en ce moment!

J'avais ecrit il y a 10 jours mais la video que je voulais ajouter ne marche pas et alors c'est tres dommage! ET du coup, voila, j'ai abandonne!

Enfin, me revoila avec des nouvelles plus ou moins fraiches:
- Je touche mes pieds, je joue avec depuis 2-3 semaines
- Je mange de la vraie nourriture depuis 10 jours. Apres mon lait du matin, je mange soit un peu de bouillie. Ce matin, j'ai goute des petits pois en petit pot. Maman me fera des purees elle-meme mais comme je ne mange pas beaucoup pour l'instant, c'est pas facile. J'adore manger, j'ouvre la bouche des que la cuillere approche et je me regale. C'est maman qui dit que c'est fini sinon je continuerai a manger et manger!
Petit a petit, ils vont me faire gouter de plus en plus de choses et je mangerai de plus en plus mais il ne faut pas aller trop vite pour mon systeme digestif qui, lui, n'a pas l'habitude.
- On va camper pour la premiere fois ce week-end, je vous raconterai.
- Je me reveille en general une fois dans la nuit, vers 3:30 et puis comme le soleil se leve tot, moi aussi. En general entre 5 et 6 heures du matin! L'avenir appartient a ceux qui se levent tot, n'est ce pas?
- Je rigole aussi pour des raisons que papa et maman ne comprennent pas. Ils font les pitres et ca me fait sourire et parfois ils font un son bizarre, meme pas expres, et la, ca me fait rigoler. En suite, ils le refont et le refont et puis, bah apres, c'est bon, quoi, j'ai compris. Je ne suis pas une machine a rire quand meme!!!!
- Je ne me retourne pas encore mais presque. Je leur ferai la surprise un de ces 4.
- Je m'endors en jouant dans le lit, alors parfois, quand papa et maman viennent me voir, je suis dans une position completement differente ou je tiens les barreaux du lit.

Et pour les grandes nouvelles:

- Felicitation Oncle Josh et Tata Jessica! Ils se sont maries le week end dernier. C'etait fun et moi, j'etais un bon petit gars. J'ai fait mes petites siestes tranquilles et j'etais de bonne humeur tout le temps. J'ai toute la famille, j'ai rencontre des gens nouveaux. Et j'ai du etre dans les bras d'au moins 30 differentes personnes! Maman et papa ne savait pas ou j'etais parfois. Bah a chaque fois, j'etais trop mignon, et j'ai fait craque pas mal de gens... Desole de ne pas etre plus humble mais c'est pas de ma faute si tout le monde me dit que je suis beau. Maman n'arrete pas de dire que c'est ridicule comment les gens s'arretent pour me regarder!
Dans deux semaines, on va en Californie pour feter leur mariage avec d'autres membres de la famille.

- Je suis francais!!!! Ca y est, on a recu mon acte de naissance traduit et le livret de famille rempli. Cela veut dire que je suis inscrit sur les registres francais depuis le 21 mai.

- Papa et maman ont fait ma demande de passeport pour notre voyage en France en Septembre. Mais ce sera un passeport americain parce que on aurait pas eu le temps de faire le francais. J'ai hate de revoir mes grands-parents francais et de rencontrer mon oncles, mes tantes et mes cousins!!!

- Mes grands-parents americains m'ont ouvert un compte pour mes etudes et mes parents m'ont dit que j'avais de la chance. Merci, merci, merci.


I have tried to post a couple weeks ago. I have a very good video I made for Jessica but it does not work so I kind of gave up on my blog for a little while and I was also very very busy but here I am with some more or less recent news:
- I have found my feet and play with them for the last 2-3 weeks.
- I have started eating solid food (Rice cereal - for a week or so) and peas this morning. I start the morning with some milk and then maman give me about a tablespoon of food. She is going to make me try new things every four days or so. I love eating and if she was not stopping, I would continue but she stops to let my digestive system deal with the new stuff! As soon as I see the spoon, I open my mouth and make sure I eat everything in it!
- We are going to camp this week end for the first time... I will write about it next week. I promise.
- Generally, I wake up once during the night, aroung 3:30 and then around 5 or 6 because the sun has risen.
- I laugh for reasons that my parents don't understand. They doing stuffs to make me smile and I do but I surprised them by laughing for a total random reason like a weird noise they made or face. When they figured it out, they do it again and again to make me laugh more. It's cool but after a while, I got it, you see. They keep trying as if I was a sort of laugh machine.
- I don't turn over yet but it is so close. I will surprise them soon.
- I fall asleep playing at night and so, when they come to check on me, they find me in a weird position or holding the bar of the crib.

And for the big news :

- Congratulations Aunt Jessica and Uncle Josh!!!
They got married last week-end. Baby Lezard must be happy just cause her/his parents were so happy!
Me, I have done my little naps whenever I could, I was in a good mood. I charmed people. I hung out with people I had not seen for a while (grandparents, relatives) and met new people. I might have been in 40 different people's arm but it's fine, I was a good sport. I liked the attention. Whenever, I was getting tired, my mom would take me and put on the floor or somewhere cooler. (It was hoooooot) Sometimes, papa and maman did not even know who had me. My great aunts kept stealing me. I was tooooo d.... cute! Sorry but it's hard to be humble when people keep saying how cute I am! Maman says that it is quite ridiculous all the attention I get.
In two weeks, we go to California to celebrate their marriage with other relatives.

- I AM FRENCH!!!! We have received the french birth certificate and the "livret de famille", a little book with the information about our family (marriage, births...) that you have when you get married. Since May 21st, I am registered on the Official French Administration Registry!

- Papa and maman have applied for my american passport for our trip to France in September. We have not applied for the French one yet because of some administration changes at the embassy. Too long. I can't wait to see my french grandparents again and to meet my uncle, my aunts and my cousins.

- My american grandparents opened a college fund for me. My parents told me that I was lucky. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Debout / Standing up

I love to stand up and I am working on my moves. It's my third day using this thing and I am getting better and better everyday! Don't make fun of me...

J'adore etre debout et je cree des pas de danse grace a ce truc qu'on a prete a mes parents. Je m'ameliore tous les jours. Ne vous moquez pas de moi.

J'ai 5 mois aujourd'hui! I am 5 months today!

Eh oui, j'ai 5 mois aujourd'hui. La preuve que je suis grand?
Lundi soir de cette semaine, maman m'a mis au lit pour le grand dodo de la nuit et d'habitude, je ne pleure jamais très fort le soir. Eh bien lundi, je criais, j'étais tout rouge! Alors maman s'est dit que peut-être tout simplement, j'étais prêt pour un nouvel essai. Elle m'a désenmmailloté et m'a mis dans ma gigoteuse que mon arrière grand-mère Lucienne m'a offert. Elle m'a donné ma tétine, mon doudou (j'adore lui mordiller les oreilles) et j'étais carrément content. Je me suis mis à parler à mon mobile et puis je me suis endormi quelques temps après tout seul. Depuis je dors comme cà. J'aime bien me farfouiller le visage avec mon doudou. Je me réveille toujours un peu la nuit mais pas trop quand même sauf la nuit dernière. J'adore être debout et je me tiens même debout aux arcs de mon tapis de jeu. Maman et papa sont encore là mais ils me tiennent qu'un petit peu.
Je suis un coquin et pour attirer l'attention, je tousse. Je tousse et je tousse et je tousse mais récemment, mes parents tournent la tête à chaque fois que je tousse alors peut-être que je vais arrêter, ché pas, j'arrive quand même à attirer leur attention de temps en temps.

I am 5 months today! You need proof I am a big boy?
Monday night, Maman put me to bed and I usually don't cry much at night but Monday, I was pissed! I was so red! So my mom thought that maybe I was ready to be unswaddled again. She put me in my sleeping sack that my great grandma Lucienne got for me. She gave me my pacifier and my "doudou". (if you hear that word from my parents mouth, it's because "blankey" or any stuffed animal or piece of fabric that a child choose as a soother is called "doudou". So far I have one doudou that is a piece of fabric with the head of a teddy bear. I love to munch on his ear.) As soon as she unswaddled me, I was so much happier, I started talking to my mobile like often and fell asleep on my own a little bit later. When I am tired, I love to rub my "doudou" or any kind of fabric on my face. I still wake up a little bit at night but it's not bad except last night, well, not that bad!
I am a little rascal: to get attention, I cough! You should hear me! I go on and on and on... but apparently, when I cough it makes my parents look away now so I might stop soon, I don't know, it still gets their attention from time to time...

So, I am doing my "C" shape figure as the osteopath says. Maman and papa keep telling me to push on my leg cause I can roll over then!
Did I tell you I rolled over once from my belly to my back? It was weird!
Aunt Jessica witnessed it. Jessica, tell tehm it's true!

Maman really wants me to let you know that I am changing my day naps schedule and that she has no idea what to do!

Today, I stay 30 minutes without falling on the couch sitting up. Not even in the corner, it's too easy!

Oh, and I laughed with Papa a week ago in the bath. First baby laugh, real laugh. Since then, Maman has tried to make me laugh but all I do is a cute "aaaaahhh". finally, yesterday, she did "Atchoum" after I sneezed and I laughed for real once!


Et voila, je fais ma pose en "C" comme dit l'ostheopathe. Maman et papa me disent de pousser sur ma jambe pour que ca m'aide a rouler sur le ventre. Est ce que je vous ai dit que j'avais roule de mon ventre sur le dos la semaine derniere. C'etait bizarre. Tata Jessica peut temoigner. Hein, oui?

Maman veut vraiment que je vous dise qu'elle ne comprend plus rien a mes siestes du jour. Je suis en train de tout changer. Haha!

Et puis, aujourd'hui, je suis reste assis sur le fauteuil 30 minutes sans tomber, et meme pas dans le coin du fauteuil, c'est trop facile.

Oh, et j'ai rigole avec papa il y a une semaine dans le bain. Premiers rires de bebes. des vrais rires. Depuis, maman a essye de me faire rire et tout ce que je sors, c'est un super cute "aaah" mais enfin, hier, elle faisait "Atchoum" parce que je venais d'eternuer et j'ai rigole une fois.

Allright, it has been too long...
I went to the doctor on the 10th of Avril and I was 12lbs11oz and 24 inches. I have had my vaccination and I cried longer after but Maman was stronger and our nurse was nice this time too.

Otherwise, after my great three full nights 2 weeks ago, it had not been as good. I keep waking up once at night.

I also do raspberry with my lips!

I have spent two full days in only diaper or diaper and shirt cause it was sooo hot.

Aunt Sarah and uncle Peter have visited. That was great! We hung out, she babysat me, we took walks. Jessica and Michelle (one of her friend) babysat me while papa and maman rode their bike to watch a movie. When they left, I started crying like if I got hurt, it was weird but Jessica and her friend took well care of me and Maman et Papa were able to go on their date.

My godfather Bryn visited me too. It was great! He took a bunch of pictures of the two of us, he carried me, hung out. That was great to see him. He let me suck on a piece of pineapple. It was pretty good but maman said that I was not supposed to have some. I think she overreacted a little. It's not like I was eating a big piece of it! Come on, maman!

Maman works more now so I spent two nights a week with papa, Tuesday (2 hours) with Oliver who loves to steal my pacifier and poking me in the eyes. He is nice with me, he really wants to play but I am too small still. Though, when I cry, he gives me a toy or try to put my pacifier in my mouth.

I am a happy baby!


Ca fait trop longtemps, je sais...
Je suis allee chez le docteur le 10 avril et je pesais 5kg500 et mesurais 61 cm. J'ai recu mes vaccinations et c'etait difficile de me consoler au debut mais maman etait plus forte, l'infirmiere etait aussi plus sympa que l'infirmier de la derniere fois.

Apres mes supers nuits il y a deux-ou trois semaines, je n'ai pas refait du tout des nuits completes. Je me reveille une fois seulement mais quand meme!

Je fais des nouveaux sons avec ma bouche tout le temps.

J'ai passe deux jours entiers juste en couches et t-shirt, tellement il faisait chaud!

Tata Sarah et oncle Peter sont venus me rendre visite. C'etait super de passer du temps avec Sarah. On s'est promene, elle m'a garde. Tata Jessica et Michelle, une amie a tata, m'ont gardele dimanche apres-midi pendant que Maman et papa sont alles au cinema a velo. Juste avant qu'ils partent, j'ai fait un truc bizarre, je me suis mis a pleure comme si j'avais ete pique ou quelque chose. Ils sont partis quand meme. tata et son amie se sont bien occupees de moi et maman et papa ont pu avoir un rendez-vous a deux.

Mon parrain Bryn est venu me rendre visite aussi. c'etait cool. Il a pris des photos de nous deux ensemble tout le week end et il a passe du temps avec moi et mes parents. C'etait super! Ah, et il m'a fait goute de l'ananas. Maman a reagi en disant que je ne devais pas mange d'autres trucs mais c'est pas comme si il m'avait donne un bout entier dans la bouche. Elle a un peu reagi trop fort quand meme!

Maman travaille maintenant alors je passe deux soirees qu'avec papa, et le mardi, je vais chez Oliver pendant deux heures et je reste avec lui et son papa, Jeremy. Oliver adore me voler ma tetine et pointer vers moi, parfois il met son doigts dans mon oeil, mais je dis rien, il le fait pas mechamment, il est encore petit. Il veut vraiment jouer avec moi mais moi, je suis encore trop petit pour lui. Quand je pleure, il est gentil, il essaie de me mettre la tetine dans la bouche.

Voila quoi, les news, je suis un bebe heureux.

J'ai 4 mois et je suis en pleine forme!

- J'ai trouve mes mains ou plutot mes mains se sont trouvees et depuis hier elles se tiennent sans arret.
- Je joue avec des jouets aussi
- Je suis tres curieux et je tourne dans tous les sens pour regarder des trucs partout partout!
- Je dors toute la nuit depuis trois nuits (mes parents sont retournes a l'emmaillotage il y a une semaine parce que ca ne marchait pas tres bien sans alors pour le moment, moi ca me va.)
- Je fais des siestes de 2 heures le matin dans mon lit depuis trois jours. L'apres midi, quand on est a la maison, je dors dans mon lit mais souvent maman a des choses a faire, alors on est en vadrouille.)
-Je mange que toutes les 4 heures.
- J'ai vu l'ocean pacifique pour la premiere fois.
- Je pousse des cris stridents.
- J'ai ri vendredi dernier pour la premiere fois.
- Je porte des salopettes.
- Vendredi, je vais voir le docteur pour ma visite de routine de 4 mois et mon rappel de vaccins! aie, aie, aie!

I am 4 months and I feel great!

- I found my hands or rather, My hands found each other and since then, they play with each other and hold themselves non stop.
- I play with toys also.
- I have been sleeping through the night for the last 3 nights (swaddled! My parents decided I was not sleeping well without and I am happy swaddled so for now, it works for everybody!)
- I have been taking a 2 hours nap in the morning in my crib for the last 3 days. Naps in the afternoon are different because sometimes, maman has to go somewhere but if we are home, I sleep in my crib.
- I eat every 4 hours.
- I have seen the pacific ocean for the first time last week end.
- I have a new sound that I have been exploring : Shrieking!
- Last Friday, I laughed for the first time.
- I wear overalls
- On Friday, I will go to the doctor for my 4 months appointment and for my vaccination! OUCH!
